BIO: Born Adams NY, graduated South Jefferson Central School…attended the “Ivy School of Professional Art” in Pittsburgh PA, worked as a Brakeman/Conductor for the Penn Central RR and Conrail, Photographer for the Syracuse Newspapers (Post-Standard/Herald-American), TV news videographer/live truck operator/off-camera reporter for WWNY TV7 (CBS), WWTI TV50 (ABC), and News 10 Now/YNN/Time-Warner Cable News (Syracuse)…I became interested in photography in the 1970’s and have continued to shoot independently through the years, recently producing three photography books of my earlier work: “The North Country Picture Book 1983-1986” (2016) “Through A Crimson Lens Darkly” (2016) and “Railroad Heydays on the Hojack” (2017). Created a video production company with my son Matthew, “4th Coast Productions” and co-produced several of the full length documentary films released including “The Quest of Carmen D’Avino” (2000) “Little Ditch : The Black River Canal” (2007) and “Fort Drum: The First 100 Years” (2012)…
