My name is Paula Towne and I have been a professional artist since I moved to the North country as a new bride in 1969. I had found my home…50 years ago!
Since that time, I have worked in pen&ink watercolor, oil & acrylic canvases, collage, and my specialty, wood burning and acrylic painting on wooden panels. I also crochet rag rugs and teach it to children and adults. Over the years I have taught dozens of them, many of them whom have gone on and made art an important part of their lives.
Much of my work is many signs and business logos in the North country. I am the author of “The Fedwells” political cartoon (my 15 minutes of fame). I have illustrated 8 books, 3 of which I wrote. I have done 3000+ portraits, many with high school seniors and fairs.
However, my greatest achievement is,my home, which includes my gallery, “Trinkets”. Every room, in my 17 room house, is full of my art. Come see it! I give house tours! Give me a call, stop in.
Hope to see you soon!!
